Massachusetts General Hospital Cardiology Board Review

The Massachusetts General Hospital Cardiology Board Review Course is a three-day intensive live and on-demand online course for the preparation for the Cardiovascular Board Certification and Re-certification Examination.

Our goal is to guide and assist physicians in their preparation for taking the Cardiovascular Board Certification and
Re-certification Examination as well as to update practicing physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants
on the latest guidelines using multi-media presentations, audience response systems and ECG, imaging, and history
and physical examination with heart sound workshops.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Complete an overview of the high priority topics in preparation for the Cardiovascular Board Exam
  • Analyze major cardiology societies’ guidelines, including levels of recommendation and evidence
  • Develop strategies to diagnose and treat complex cardiovascular disorders

Accreditation

The Harvard Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Harvard Medical School designates this live activity for a maximum of 24.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 24.50 MOC points in the ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.
